US Election Time -- the Dems, too, offer Ketchup and Pickles!

Election time in the US is basically analogous to looking forward to going out for dinner yet having your a choice reduced to Burger King or McDonald's (and White Castle, or something like it, in certain limited areas--you know third party candidates or independents).

So, all that really happened at the DNC, when Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa had the "the Delegate from Ohio, the Chair of the Platform Drafting Committee, former Governor Ted Strickland" introduce two amendments to the Democratic Party Platform (the first one in favor of an Imaginary Friend in the Sky, the second one pandering to the encephalitic monkey on the US' shoulders), was that the Democrats basically advertised that they, too, offer ketchup and pickles on their burgers.
